The Stag, Forge Row, Old Park ,
The first time I have found a reference to The Stag at Forge Row was in Samuel Bagshaw’s 1851 trade directory page 377 where we see Thomas Blakemore Stag Inn Malinslee.
In the 1841 census Thomas Blakemore aged 60 is living at Number 1 Forge Row and his occupation is a Forge manager, his son Edwin aged 22 is a Waggoner.
In 1847 Thomas’s wife Margaretta died and was buried at Malinslee on 16th March 1847.
In the 1851 census Thomas Blakemore is still living at Forge Row and his occupation is Farmer Of 190 Acers Employing 7 Labourer, his son Edwin is now living at Grange Farm, Stirchley, a Farmer of 180 acers emp 4 Lab.
Thomas Blakemore's death registration quarter: Jan-Feb-Mar 1852 and the Stag was put up for auction on the 17th March 1852.

In the 1861 census the son Edwin Blakemore in now living at Forge Row Public Inn and his occupation is Inn Keeper, he is also advertising in the Post Office directory of 1863 page 681 Blakemore Thomas beer seller, victualler, Stag, Malinslee.
Edwin Blakemore died and was buried at Malinslee 16th May 1862.
Ann Blakemore was still living at the Stag in 1864 when her brother assaulted her.
Ann Blakemore put the Stag up for sale, Wellington Journal - Saturday 25th March 1865.
The next time I found the Stag is in 1879 for a transfer of licenses from Frank Marrion to Thomas Marrion, at Hollinswood.

The last time I can find the Stag is in 1887 when inquest was held on the death of Edward Davies, a boy aged seven, when sliding on the ice when it broke, and he disappeared under the ice.
